Neighborhood Youth Programs

Centro San José New Haven
Centro is a neighborhood community and youth center that provides center-based services for Fair Haven youth and their families. This program emphasizes positive youth development and focuses on academics, leadership, and civic engagement, along with cultural, recreational and social development.  Centro offers a wide range of activities for youth to support education, career development, health and fitness, and art and culture. Referrals and/or provision for other services is made in collaboration with other community-based organizations. Centro also provides a food pantry and access to clothing donations.

Youth Services Hartford
The primary focus is to serve at-risk youth between ages 8 and 18 and divert their involvement in delinquent behavior, gangs, and other negative activities. Services include School-Based Programs at two Hartford middle schools and at Hartford Public High School, Juvenile Prevention Services and Children's Behavioral Health services.
