Catholic Charities provides quality, affordable early childhood care and education to children of all races and religions.
At Catholic Charities our goal is to promote the highest standards of excellence in early child care education as well as to strengthen the whole family through additional educational and support services. All centers provide a safe and happy place for children to learn with a professional, experienced child care staff. Catholic Charities has been providing child care since 1991, and School Readiness programming through the State Department of Education since 1996. Our program prides itself on a Center-Family Partnership and strongly encourages parent participation. Children with special needs are welcome.
Our quality programs are licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health, and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation means that each program meets the most rigorous national standards on education, health and safety.
We offer child care primarily for preschoolers ages 3 to 5, School Readiness Programs, as well as an Infant-Toddler Program in Greater Waterbury, health and nutrition services, mental health consultations, educational and social activities, family involvement and support, and much more.
