Rose Alma Senatore I am delighted to be joining Catholic Charities as Director of Charities. Following in the footsteps of Patrick J. Johnson, Jr. is both a challenge and, at the same time, a distinct honor. The dedicated volunteers and staff who are in place to greet me are a wonderful tribute to Pat's twenty-one years of selfless service to the agency. It will be a pleasure to work with this team to provide help to our neighbors in Connecticut who are most in need of our care. Our first order of business is to meet the objectives of the strategic plan recently completed by the Board of Trustees. The expansion and improvement of our programs for our clients is a very important part of the overall plan. Our mission to promote the dignity of every individual, family, and community has never been as urgent in our society as it is today. One of the key elements in the strategic plan that will assist us in meeting this challenge is the recommendation to improve the agency's public visibility. It is my personal goal to work with as many old friends and make as many new friends as possible in this crucial effort.
