A Word from Our CEO

Dear Friends,
Since 1920, Catholic Charities has been providing human services within our Archdiocese, striving to reach individuals and families in need, regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnic background, or economic circumstances. Our work in 2020 is vast and varied, and so, too, is the community of individuals and organizations who share our commitment to the dignity and potential of all people.
Each day, employees of Catholic Charities skillfully and conscientiously respond to the complex social needs presented by our clients. We focus our attention, care, and concern on working poor individuals and families, people who are deprived of adequate education or housing, and those who suffer the trauma of abuse or neglect.
Thank you to everyone who generously supports individuals, families, and communities in need, and thank you for entrusting Catholic Charities to make a difference every day. We are grateful for your investment in programs that help an individual working with a counselor to overcome substance abuse, an intellectually or developmentally disabled adult to achieve increased independence, a neighborhood-focused Family Center creating a network of support for families to gain self-sufficiency, and hundreds of children nurtured through every stage of development. All of these initiatives and more are expressions of a broader purpose, to live the message of the Gospels.
May God bless you,
Marek K. Kukulka
